A Letter From The New CEO of Micro Focus

I want to be the first to share some very exciting news with you. After months of anticipation, preparation and planning, the spin-off from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and merger with Micro Focus is now officially complete. This is the start of an exciting new chapter, and I cannot be more proud to be leading the new, combined Micro Focus – one of the largest pure-play software companies in the world!

This merger unifies two companies with a proven track record of leadership in the software industry.  It also marks a new milestone in our relationship with you, as we combine the best of both companies to bring global scale to a proven operating model that is 100% focused on building, selling and supporting software.

With global scale, Micro Focus is uniquely positioned to help you address the needs and opportunities of the new hybrid model for enterprise IT, from mainframe to mobile to cloud. We have a broad portfolio of offerings designed to extend your existing software investments while delivering innovation to address the challenges facing you today and tomorrow.

Our mission is to provide a best-in-class portfolio of enterprise-grade scalable software with analytics built in. We put customers at the center of our innovation and deliver high quality software that our teams can be proud of. We are committed to this mission and 100% committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for you and your teams so that you can invest in us for the long term with confidence.

This is also a significant day as we will be ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange at 9:30am ET to mark the completion of the Micro Focus merger and the first day of trading on the NYSE.

I’ll leave you with a brief video message as we look forward to having you Discover the New Micro Focus!
